Our association was founded on September 12, 2018, following the decision of seven individuals with experience in collaborative work to officially organize in Eskiyapar Village. The goal is to transfer civil sector experiences to rural areas and search for the methods of rural development on-site.
Even though the beneficiaries, volunteers, board members, and our members may have individual political views and different lifestyles, there is no side or partisanship under the roof of our association. Our side is rural development, and our dream is community living.
The details of the work we carry out, including financial processes, are published on our website, and reports are kept in our office. Our activities are regularly audited by relevant institutions. Almost every decision or purchase has its criteria, and explanations derived from those criteria are provided.
Equal opportunities in education, equal access to information, and gender equality are the key principles that guide us to rural areas, define our target audience, and shape our work. Gender balance is considered in our activities, and equal opportunities in education and access to information are supported.
We collaborate with organizations that share similar missions for the benefit of our target audience and develop projects together. Our work always has a multi-partner structure, and we learn from each other’s experiences. In our activities, we aim to bring together all segments of society.
Various methods are being implemented to support the social cohesion of seasonal agricultural workers, migrants, and refugees—especially in rural areas. These efforts aim to strengthen integration processes and promote harmony within diverse communities.
Through initiatives aimed at farmers and agricultural organizations, the spread of environmentally friendly good farming practices and organic agriculture across Türkiye is actively supported.
Work is being done to improve financial literacy and access through structured education for different age groups and financial training for farmers.
Activities are being organized focusing on basic human rights and fighting discrimination for homeowners and refugees living in rural areas with limited access to information.
Practical basic entrepreneurship training and mentorship support are being provided to potential entrepreneurs living in rural areas, with a special focus on supporting women and youth entrepreneurship in these regions.
Young people and youth workers are supported to participate in national and international mobility programs focused on community living and rural development, helping them gain knowledge, skills, and experience.
Everything started in this house. Our elders lived here, and some of us were born here. We listened to stories and fairy tales here. Slowly, we grew up. As we grew, we learned, and as we learned, we grew. Here, for example, we learned about rural life, and about living together. It was here that we began to think about what was happening around us, sometimes about what was never about to happen, and perhaps more about what could have happened but never did. Then we left the house, but we never left what we learned there.
Our old village house is slowly hurrying these days. This is actually a story of transformation prepared by Yedi Nokta Association. In this house, educational stories will be told, rural development and entrepreneurship will be experienced in the garden, and young people and children will exist and grow as they learn.
